The Shore Hotel Jeju, located in the center of South Korea’s most popular resort island Jeju, will reopen under new brand Parnas Hotel Jeju in July that will be managed by the country’s retail giant GS Retail. Parnas Hotel, a hospitality business operator under GS Retail, plans to reopen the Shore Hotel Jeju as Parnas Hotel Jeju in July after renovation. The luxury resort hotel with 307 rooms and auxiliary facilities is Parnas’ first five-star hotel outside Seoul and metropolitan areas.

Aju Group sold The Shore Hotel to real estate fund PineStreet Asset Management in 2020, and GS Retail that initially participated in the deal as a strategic investor acquired the hotel later.

Parnas Hotel Jeju boasts a panoramic view of Jeju’s nature at the Jungmun Tourist Complex, the most popular tourist destination on the island. It is located a five-minute walk from Saekdal Beach, known as the surfer’s paradise. The hotel is also in the proximity of various tourist sites, such as the International Convention Center Jeju, the Jeju World Cup Stadium, and the Jeju Teddy Bear Museum.

The hotel will be renovated for comfortable stays for leisure, travel, and business meetings, with its suites to be remodeled for four or five guests. Its reservation service will open this month.
